1. We're not really taught this, are we?  We are most often taught about saying No.  Whether it's No to calories or social media, we don't often learn what saying No and Yes really mean.

From our families to our culture to our friends, how we say Yes and No are influenced greatly by social decorum.  And in this episode I cut through the messiness of saying No and in particular the Yes within the No.

We're usually not taught this and I know I wasn't growing up.  There are too many rules and etiquette to when to say No and Yes that the script in my head was getting confusing.

And what makes it more confusing is how we take others' No's and Yes's.  It's necessary to separate others vs. our own.  And even then, how do we, as an adult, begin to understand how we are saying No and Yes to everything in our lives.

If we want to change a habit or the way we are in a relationship, we probably fair a better chance knowing the what and how of our decisions.  Every Yes and No comes with its counter opposite and this is the journey I explore in this episode.

I share some personal stories from saying Yes and No in my Indian family and then trying to change a habit in increasing my productivity.  Join me as I work this out in my head and maybe you'll find a thing or two about your Yes's and No's.
