23rd training session in the gym. Right away my trainer wanted to know how Monday's workout was feeling. It was fine. Everyday I feel a sharp pain in my back if I bend a certain way, but I almost have to try for it. So it's good things are improving in that area. I'm not that limited in the movements I can do. We did 2 circuits, each circuit was 3-4 movements, just repping through things and progressing on the difficulty. Focusing more on the balance and stabilization of these movements. For example, I did a bodyweight squat on a balance beam, then added a dumbbell to the one side to challenge my balance in a different way. After I finished, I had a chiropractor appointment again today. It was encouraging to see that from my chiropractor's point of view things are progressing well enough to where probably after next week I'll reassess where I'm at. I could very well be entering into February and be progressing into jumping and running. Not holding back as much. Overall I don't want to let my guard down. I'm still hurting. My back is tender enough I feel it if I move in certain way. Want to continue to respect that. Tomorrow I'll get in the pool and keep on going.
