Got in the gym for my 21st training session. Felt really nice to do the warmup. No running or jumping. Just a light jog and broke a sweat - just doing shoulder circles and lunges. For the circuits, did 2 circuits. Some of the movements were bench press, glute bridges on a slide board. I held one leg out straight, then the other one is sliding down to the ground. I paid attention to how my body felt throughout all the movements. The rate of perceived effort was a 3 or 4 today. Followed up with my chiropractor. Recommended approach is to get 6 treatments over the next 2 weeks. Then see how it feels. I think if I do this right by the end of the month I can play this safe and be back to a point where I'm jumping and get more of that mobility in my spine. Until then, I'm going to take this day over day. Looking forward to the weekend. Going to rest up. Tomorrow I'll do some targeted recovery. Sunday I don't have anything planned. Monday getting back in the gym and continuing to do the movements that feel good right now, but making sure I'm not overly eager to get weights on or anything like that.
