Went swimming. 5 minutes of treading water. Swam 5 laps of the breastroke and mixed in some backfloats with a backstroke. After 20 minutes feels good. Always nice to get the heart flowing, but not overdoing it. The purpose of these Tuesday and Thursday gym sessions is to get the body moving. I'm not pushing in anyway. Tomorrow, looking forward to that workout. Going to bed early. Getting a good 9 hours of sleep and being prepared. The isometrics on Wednesday were pretty taxing. I don't think it was the weight that got me. It was the duration of the holds. I've even noticed my appetite. I've been eating more. I haven't stepped on the scale. To me the amount of weight that hold isn't a huge thing if I'm just fluctuating a few pounds here and there. Overall I do feel like my strength is starting to come. It's exciting. Tomorrow will be my 13th session in the gym. Things are trending the right direction. Just need to make sure that my recovery stays in check with the training that I do. Keep myself honest with not overdoing it. Having a lot of fun right now. With this podcast I don't expect a lot of value coming out of it. It's just a training log. I'll probably start delving more into nutrition, and lifestyle factors. Something I've noticed is some of the podcasts I listen to I take those ideas and mesh those in and experiment with it. It'd be fun to connect with other people and have conversations around some of that stuff. I'll check in tomorrow after my workout.
