Over 800,000 people die by suicide every year worldwide.

That is one person losing their life every 40 seconds.

In this episode of the Sideline, I spoke to Colette Hogan on her battle with depression and mental health.

Depression is defined as a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. 

There are a number of factors that can cause depression or lead to an increase

Abuse, Certain medications, Death or loss, Genetics, Major events, or other personal problems.
