Democrats are trying to pass a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill through Congress, to help the economy recover from COVID. One of the provisions in this bill was a national $15 minimum wage, but after being struck down by a Senate parliamentarian, Democrats have backed off from raising the minimum wage, at least for now, in favor of passing the giant stimulus.
