Martin Luther commented on this passage, -After terrifying us, the Apostle now comforts us- after pouring wine into our wound, he now pours in oil.- Let us hear how Christ was fully God and fully man but His divinity did not diminish the struggles of temptations as a human, and how Christ was always without sin. May God use this expositional sermon to build His church.
