Our Contemplating Pop Culture series dives into the meanings, ideas, philosophy, and theology behind various pop culture topics. In this session we will be diving into the deeper ideas behind the work of Taylor Swift. We cover topics such as fandom, feminism in pop culture, nostalgia, storytelling, queer and trans readings and more!

The discussion was hosted by Ember Kelley and Anjum Choudhury. We are excited to also be joined by special guest panelist, Madyson Peoples, known for her queer readings of Taylor Swift lyrics on TikTok as well and a recently launched Taylor Swift focused podcast, The Archers.
