To raise awareness of GoingDutch Around the World, I am producing a pilot series; the Road to GoingDutch, which will be available subscription-free and have its focus on my ‘to do’ list and the tasks to be completed to make sure that I will be ready to travel to San Diego on Monday, 6 January when GoingDutch Around the World will formally launch. 

In this episode, I speak a little about Dutch cycling, my experiences of cycling in the Netherlands and my belief that sports-based marketing of cycling in the UK has been harmful to the development of a genuine cycling culture.
