Have you ever lost something that was valuable to you? Knowing where to look makes all the difference when something is lost. Knowing where to find hope makes all the difference when life feels hopeless. Our expectations don't dictate the actions of Jesus, and that shouldn't surprise us. Jesus didn't come to be the God we expected, he came to be the Savior we needed. When Jesus doesn't meet your expectations, expect something even greater.
