The kids are strapped in and strapped down so we can pick up where we left off. There is still a need to knuckle down for Christmas but we've both been good girls this year and have high hopes for our Secret Santa gifts. Question of the day - when does your Christmas tree come down - are you a stickler for tradition or do you whip it down on Boxing Day?

All Emma wants for Christmas is some monogrammed silk pyjamas, a slab of cheddar with a warm mince pie and a big bushy tree. Is that too much to ask? Billie meanwhile is craving a night in a hotel on her own but will probably be taking her own Vienetta and Yule Log for company.
