The feeling of joy of a human that comes from the learning and development of the human is a satisfying feeling. They feeling of joy is more satisfying and lasting than the temporay high than comes from the acquisition of power and wealth, which poorly informed humans tend to covet. Most humans on earth are fixated on accumulating more power and wealth than those other humans that they compete with. Those power and wealth seekers show little interest in evolving. Those humans with more power and wealth that those that they compete with often admit that the winning of their power and wealth competitions do not cause them to feel joy and the excitement caused by the winning is short-lived. Some have readily admitted that dealing with their accumulated power and wealth has proven to be burdensome and a source of grief. This incessant accumulation of power and wealth for the purpose of achieving some semblance of happiness fits nicely into the enslavement play book of the exploiters. What those disappointed wealth and power seekers need to do discover is the types the activities that cause other humans to feel joy. One can never go wrong when one discovers and replicates joy causing activities. One always goes wrong when one keeps replicating activities that lead to dissatisfaction, over and over again. What the unhappy humans need to do is to acknowledge the senselessness of redoing, over and over again, activities that are dissatisfying. Their misguided reasoning is caused by their misguided behavioural conditioning and mental programming. The misguided have been taught that they must compete with each other and win those competitions. They are taught that competing and winning is required to establish their relative worth and build their self-esteem. The acquisition and accumulation of more power and wealth than others is encouraged by their poorly informed teachers. The misled would be much better off if they worked cooperatively with the majority of others to identify and satisfy their common interests. The common interests of the majority would likely include their physical survivals and their feeling of satisfying pleasure and joy. Those goals are much easier to achieve when humans treat each other as allies rather that enemies. Rather than treat each other as a competitor, they could treat each other as a team member and set and pursue common team goals.
