The people of a nation always experience the consequences of their decision-making. If they were to observe the actions of their political leaders and those that aspire to be their political leaders, they could readily identify those that are would be tyrants. They would be able to act collectively to prevent the retention or the gaining of the leadership of their nation by a despot that is intent on supressing their personal rights and freedoms. The people of the nation are well-advised to assess the intent of the actions of those seeking leadership and those that have become leaders. They must learn to respond proactively and appropriately to any attempts by a leader of a nation to expand unchecked powers and influences. When supreme powers and influences are attained by a despot, the reclaiming of the personal rights and freedoms of the majority of the people of a nation is difficult but not impossible to achieve. The reclamation of personal rights and freedoms of the majority of the people of a nation is achievable if the supressed can muster the courage to exercise their right to decide on and pursue the nature of the vision of their nation that they wish to share. As the people of a nation, they can define the nature of the vision of their nation that they wish to share as a collective. They can give that vision a substantial amount of their attention, activate it with their enthusiasm for it and imagine it to be real. They can imagine the steps required to make that vision real. They can image a sensory perception of the completion of those steps. They can do the physical activities required to complete those steps and make the nature of their vision real. In the meantime, they can stop participating in the nature of the vision of their nation that is being forced upon them by their tyrannical leader. Without the support of the people of the nation, the nature of the vision of the nation promoted by the tyrannical leader cannot be sustained.
