The podcast “Insights About Us” provides weekly information sessions. The episodes provide insights into such matters as our nature, purpose, role, journey, creations, discernments, beliefs, behaviours, emotions, experiences and needs. The proper use of these insights permits us to create the model of our Self and world that we want.

Episode #61 provides insights about our preoccupations. Most of us are allotting significant portions of our precious time to doing things that do not increase personal growth, develop potential or increase happiness and joy. If we are not consciously devoting at least 50% of our time to things that add value to our lives and the lives of others, we are wasting our time and assisting others in wasting their time. The activities that are worthy of our participation and the participation of others are those that promote growth in knowledge , the development of potential and the increase in happiness. If the things that we are doing at least 50% of the time are not consistent with causing us and others to achieve greater grow, development of potential and happiness, we need to develop higher personal standards for the use of our time. When we return to source, all that we will be able take with us is our growth in knowledge, developed potential and increased happiness. If we wish to be pleased with our Selves, we must be able to point to the increase in our knowledge, the development of our potential and increase in our happiness while participating in the earth experiment. It will be a sad exit interview for us if we are not able to demonstrate success. We will not have fulfilled our obligations that we committed to prior to taking on our physical form.

If the things that we are doing at least 50% of the time are not consistent with the promotion of the growth in knowledge, the development of potential and increase in happiness, we are well advised to develop higher personal standards for the use of our time. We are well-advised to become conscious of what we are doing with our time and why. We well-advised to eliminate those things that add no value to our lives unless they are urgent and important for our well-being and survival needs. Meeting our well-being and survival needs fit into the category of things that are important and urgent. For those of us that are not consciously making productive use of our time, we are most likely wasting significant portions of it doing things that do not add to our growth in knowledge, development of potential, increase in happiness and increase in well-being.
