Intergenerational trauma can have a major effect on how choices are made.  Intergenerational trauma occurs when prior generations experience trauma and then pass on the effects of trauma to their offspring.  Mothers who have been traumatized and who might have cluster B personality types sometimes make choices that can affect her life and the life of her child can cause a devastating aftermath to occur.  Adult children of parents who have narcissistic personality or any other cluster B personality type can unknowingly set her child or children up for further health issues such as trauma.
