**John 10 : 22 - 32
Isaiah 6 : 9 - 10

Why did the Jews not listen?**

• The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” John 10:24
• Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, (John 10:25)
• but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. John 10:26
• My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

Are you my sheep?

• Does not listen to my voice
• I know them
• They follow me
• I will give them eternal life
• They shall never perish
• When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. John 10:4
• “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—John 10:14

From a follower to a disciple

• “I am God’s Son”
• Look at the works and believe
• That you may know and understand
• The Father is in me, and I in the Father

Do I believe?

• Jesus is the Messiah
• Anointed One – sent by God
• Jesus is the Son of God
• For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Conclusion

• This man called Jesus:
• His claims:
• I am the Son of God
• I am the Messiah
• I am the Good Shepherd
• I give you eternal life
• Do you BELIEVE?
