Merlin is obsessed with John Mulaney, and Alex has begun a deep dive. STREET Smarts!

Buca di Beppo? Beppo di Buca? Joey Boopo's? As Matchie knows, you have to just tell the person it's for a very sick little kid.

Alex says she has a story about bagels, and Max and Merlin struggle to help her discover what the story actually is. It may involve—what—flavored steam maybe? Would you prefer the Anna Kendrick, the Cuba Gooding Jr., or the Chance the Rapper?

Max has trouble falling asleep, and, because he's a terrible person, he introduces his co-hosts to a fatal condition that they now can't unhear. Alex believes in sheer force of will, and Merlin thinks you have to just convince yourself it's okay. Or maybe you could remember every person you've ever harmed. Anyway, sleep tight!

Merlin has an anecdote about recent choking and the news. This leads to a very relaxing discussion about the utter horror of panic attacks.

It's Alex's challenge this week, and she has a book to offer.

Unfollowing people makes them sad, and Alex is a little worked up about it. Merlin thinks there's a big irony in trying to warn people about it. Max deleted Twitter altogether, even though he kinda made fun of Merlin for doing the same thing (or did he just imagine that?). Try inhaling the quicksand, okay?

No one ever thought comedians were funny anyway. Deleting old tweets is discussed and Birdhouse is mourned.

Merlin is excited for a future Eliot Rosewater Challenge.
