Do you find yourself struggling to make good decisions about food at certain times in your cycle? Or perhaps you haven’t identified a pattern yet, but know something is amiss. Whether you are sneaking chocolate a few days before your period, or dealing with insatiable hunger for weeks at a time, this episode is for you.
I think most of you understand when I bring up the notion of naughty food habits leading up to your period. For some it's sweets, others it's salty. For others it could be carbs or comfort foods (i.e. pizza, mac & cheese or pasta). For many, chocolate is a common culprit, and we don’t feel bad about it because it's healthy, right? If we give into our cravings here and there, then it's no big deal. For most of you that's the case, but for some there is a more severe lack of control that is leading to binge eating, affecting health, and causing low self esteem. Not to mention that it can be hard to break the habit once your period comes. So, I'm sure if you’re tuning into this episode, you are probably interested in knowing WHY you are having said cravings and learning what to do about them. Tune in to hear all the nitty-gritty on food cravings and how you can get them under control!
