National Consumer Protection Week, March 1-7, is a time to help people understand their consumer rights and make well-informed decisions about money. The consumer specialists at Fairfax County have lots of special programs and events planned to make you a wiser consumer.
Fairfax County’s two genealogical societies, Mount Vernon and Fairfax, together with the staff of the Library’s Virginia Room, provide a great deal of resources and lectures to help you with your genealogical quest. These groups also offer something called Special Interest Groups or SIGS.
