Alright ya'll, are you ready for my most requested episode to date?! I've received so many messages this summer asking if I can share the specifics of how I launch reading workshop. Your wish has been granted in today's jam-packed episode!

I'm sharing all the details of the first three weeks of reading workshop! During the first 15 days, the goal is to set your students up for success. This means you don't jump straight into content. Instead, focus on introducing, modeling, and practicing the habits and behaviors that you want your students to display all year long. When we take the time to build positive habits and behaviors, we gain an effective reading block (no “fake reading” going on here!).
