Read through Mark 6:14-29. Make a list of the ways you see Herod’s idolatry affecting his life as well as the people around him.

Take some time to consider how your own idolatry has affected you and those around you.

Thomas Chalmers argued that the only way to deal with our idols is to replace them with the glory of God. What would this practically look like in your own life?
