The Bible is very clear about the meekness and humility of Jesus, to empty Himself of His glory and willingly lay down His life for the sake of others.  Peter tells us that was an example for us today.  Do we willingly empty ourselves of our rights and lay down our strengths, all for conscience sake towards Jesus and to the benefit of others?  Or do we find ourselves fighting for the worldly comforts and happiness that we want?
