We react to some people more than others and when we are in a reactive state it feels uncomfortable in the body. We may feel, for instance sad, angry, deflated or ashamed and this will be reflected in how we communicate.
Once conscious that we have reacted we can use exercises to address our uncomfortable emotions and re-centre ourselves. This inner calm, compassion and confidence will be conveyed and usually it will lead to a more mutually respectful and constructive interaction.
This is one of a series of exercises that will help you to re-centre. watch out for more as they are published over the coming weeks
