Title: DON'T YOU TEMP ME
Temptation: A desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise. The act of enticing to evil by arguments, by flattery, or by the offer of some real or apparent good.
In other words: My own pleasures, My own desires, My own will.
James 1:13-14 "No one undergoing a trial should say, “I am being tempted by God.” For God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself doesn’t tempt anyone. 14-But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires.”
Verse 13: “No one undergoing a trial should say, “I am being tempted by God.” For God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself doesn’t tempt anyone.” Why we can't blame God for our temptations.
Romans 3:23-For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Matthew 4:1-“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil.”
Romans 13:14- “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no plans to satisfy the fleshly desires.” Galatians 13:14- For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.” "God came to destroy evil, not to promote it. "
V. 14- “But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires.” Temptation comes from within us. From our old, evil, fallen, unregenerate nature.
Matthew 15:19- “For from the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.” How to kill the "I" in us.

Repel- To be repulsed by, to be sickened by, to be disgusted with.
