Myth #1: God only speaks to those who are already in a relationship with Jesus.

Myth #2: With all of the catastrophic things happening today, God must be silent.

Myth #3: You have to be a seasoned veteran Christian for God to speak to you.

Joel 2:28 "“After this I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.” ‭‭ Acts 2:17 "“And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” ‭‭

IF GOD IS STILL SPEAKING, then WHY CAN'T YOU HEAR FROM HIM?

1- You don't know His voice.

John 10:27 "“My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.” ‭‭ 2-You have selective hearing. James 1:19 "“My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger,” ‭ 3-Your faith is smaller than your ears.

4-It boils down to: You don't want to hear from God.

HOW DOES GOD STILL SPEAK TODAY? 1-Through His Word. The Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness,” ‭‭ 2-The Holy Spirit. John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.” ‭‭ 3-Other godly people.

4-Through dreams and visions.

How to deal with dreams??

1-Pray about the dream 2-Write it down 3-Listen to God 4-Seek godly counsel 5-Don't ponder upon it
