What does the ancestry of our family say about us? Do others predict or assume things about us based on our relatives? The prophets foretold that the Messiah would be born from the line of David, giving early believers a lineage to watch as they waited for their Savior. Coming from a king's ancestry meant that folks would've predicted great warrior-like qualities in Jesus.
