You might recognize it was the coastal drive featured on Magnum P.I. TV Show. It is one of the main highways connecting Honolulu to the Windward side of Oahu and is a must see for all visitors. It’s rarely a quick drive around during the day, and it is frequented by bicyclists and with narrow passes around turns, it is often necessary to just take this drive very slowly.
