Lister creates a stir in Copenhagen and continues to be the star of wherever she is. Walker has recovered from her severe depression some and is informed of a letter from Lister which improves her mental health even more. Lister's aunt is diagnosed with gangrene and Lister is called back immediately. The Sowdens begin planning a happy day soon in the future and maybe the Ann(e)s will do the same?
