Last week we spoke of wisdom at work. Wisdom works. Work is good…as long as it isn’t god in our lives. It becomes god in our lives when it become the primary source of our identity, provision and security. However, the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom keeps work in its proper place because we find our primary identity in God and look to Him for provision and security. And when we do, we also are able to rest.
