A "dissension and debate" arise as we open to Acts 15. The journey of Paul and Barnabas continues and we'll observe three things from the text:

1. The heretical pathway of legalism
2. The confirming proof of salvation
3. The intentional process of clarification

Legalists believe salvation is faith + works, but as true believers we know salvation is by faith + grace. We must remind ourselves that salvation is not spelled D-O, as if we could add anything to what Christ already accomplished. Rather, we can spell it D-O-N-E because of the perfect work of Jesus Christ.
