Application abounds at the beginning of Acts 20. As Paul continues his missionary journey with the hope of providing encouragement to surrounding churches, we'll focus on five key ideas:

1. The people gathered together on Sunday
2. They used the space they had
3. There was a biblical teaching by a sacrificial leader
4. The people were undeterred by circumstances
5. They enjoyed a meal together

We can also note the characteristics of exhortation, persistence and sacrifice from Paul and his group in the middle of this episode. It's important to recognize their aim of being available for the encouragement and benefit of these churches and the people within them. 

All throughout the New Testament, we witness Paul's joy in providing gospel truth to those he visits. May the same be true of us!
