Paul's missionary journeys continue and as we open to Acts 21, we'll follow the timeline of events through three different sections: 

1. When the journey gets complicated (1-3)
2. When good people distract from greater things (4-6)
3. When it will have a high or uncertain cost (7-16)

Paul had a conviction to continue on despite the trouble that lie ahead. A conviction is Holy Spirit direction that always aligns with God's Word. While his heart was broken, he was ready to set an example of how to obey God's leading.
