It is finished! The Bible teaches that those were the last words of Jesus Christ as he died on the cross for us. Three words that declare a truth which could transform our lives if we take the time to enter into the reality of the profound meaning of the word “finished”. The Greek word is teleo. It means that something has taken place at a specific time and the effects are permanent and ongoing without end.
