February is Black History Month. Grassroots and community organization - change from the ground-up, often operating outside of capitalistic structures - have been a vital force for change, especially for Black people and within Black circles. This year has been radicalizing and divisive, and we wanted to bring up ways that people can assist their communities outside of presidential elections. If you're feeling fatigued by national issues and want to find a way to help the people closer to home, this episode may be for you.

It goes without saying that we support the initiatives of the Black Panther Party and unequivocally support the Black Lives Matter movement.
