In this episode I talk about various traditions, chores, weather, and some health foods that we tend to increase and include into our January diets and habits.
It's a sleepy month, with confusing weather- half the time I feel like I'm not sure what day or season it is.
The weather can be a mixer, this year we're experiencing a mild winter. I have Spring Fever! I'm currently resisting the temptation to PLANT ALL THE SEEDS NOW~! So I've started a few seedlings in the house.
this month we Trim trees and bushes, pick up sticks(literally) rake the leaves, increase our compost piles, burn branches in a big New Year's Eve bonfire! We amend the soil if necessary.
We begin a new Sour Dough starter, and I make Ginger ale. We clean the inside of our home, this is our "spring cleaning" month! We tidy the yard before...rainy season!
Rainy season tends to snowball, but this is reported to be a mild, dry year unfortunately.
