When I first stepped into the world of copywriting back in 2018, ethical copywriting wasn’t really a "thing" in the online space I was operating in.
Even though I wasn’t educated on the topic, what I did know, or feel, was that the “bro marketing” way of copywriting that I was being trained in felt uncomfortable and slightly wrong at times.
The whole “paint a picture of people’s problems” and then “twist the knife even further” to really sell them did not align with my empathetic, highly-sensitive self.
And, maybe you feel the same?
It wasn’t until 2020 when I came across my friends Nat from The Brand Copywriter and her coach (and my now friend) Rachel Turner that I learned there was a different way to write copy.
A way that didn’t:
to get people to “take action” on your offer – and I fell in love and immediately started implementing what is now described as ethical copywriting.
If you, too, have been interested in learning how to take a more ethical approach to how you write your own copy – especially sales page – episode 022 is going to give you 2 simple things you can do today to write more ethically without having to overthink it!
