This episode, I interviewed Kory Vance, an affordable housing professional and a poet to offer perspective and information on the topic of affordable housing and community involvement. Kory also talked about his upcoming manuscript and leaves us with one of his poems. 

"Originally from Southeast Missouri, Kory Vance is a poet and affordable housing professional living in Sacramento, California. He is equally passionate about housing and poetry. Currently, Kory is the Director of Housing & Lending at an organization in Sacramento. In his career, he has worked in a broad range of affordable housing and community development initiatives, including homeless intervention, neighborhood revitalization, home repair, first-time homebuyer, and foreclosure prevention programs. His basic goal is to catalyze environments where everyone has a fair chance to thrive."
