We all experience challenging times. We are lucky that when we are able to have them together. It is during these times that teachers must help their students process what is happening. We do this by having the necessary and often difficult conversations. Today, we head to Iowa to meet Ms. Jane Elliot, a teacher who is no stranger to tough conversations. She has made a career out of teaching students about the harsh dynamics of racism. This is the Elephant in the Classroom.
