“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.” -1 Peter 5:6

As Christians, we know it is a glorious virtue to be humble, but what does that look like? The next time someone badmouths you, and you don’t retaliate? That’s humility. When you are not bothered when others don’t commend you for a job well done? That’s also humility. People become humble when they become more and more like Christ.
