Brian's brilliant "Dreamer's Ball" takes us into a jazzy dream, with Freddie crooning soulful perfection. All acoustic and electrics from Brian, and he creates a brassy warmth. Surprisingly, no Roger on backing vocals here, but his brushed percussion sparkles as we trudge along that shuffle beat. John glides delicately up and down on glissandos. An early acoustic take is slower, heavy on the cymbals but impressive. Still, it's the live version that I adore the most. Dare I say it...it's so cute.
