We are tired. Depleted, exhausted and worn out. We let our days run us rather than the other way around. Society tells us that it's completely normal to go, go, go. The hustle and grind have become a way of life for many. If we have nothing to show for our hard work and achievement, then we won't be accomplished, right?! But, we're tired.

I think we're tired for a few reasons:

  1. Because we're doing too many things, period. We don't know when to say no. It's time to take down some chairs and make room for more of what matters.
  2. We're taking on someone else's load. It's not ours to carry. And we haven't sought the wisdom to know the difference between what we've been asked to carry and what someone else has been asked to carry.
  3. We're prioritizing the wrong things. We've let things of little to no importance fill our lives that we no longer have room for the big things.

What are you giving your time and energy to? Is it the most important things in your life or little things that you have made important things? I want you to live your life out of abundance, not exhaustion and depletion. I want you to create the life you want rather than just allowing life to happen to you.

This week, write down your big rocks, medium rocks and little rocks. What matters most. Put that first, then everything else comes after.

Our wagons don't have to be full. It's time to let go and make room for those big rocks in your life so that you have the capacity and energy to carry the load you were called to carry.

XO,
Bridget
