Serendipity (n.) finding something good without looking for it.

To build on last weeks episode of the types of people we need in our life, there are also those people who show up coincidentally, by chance or by happy accident. I believe that there are no accidents but rather something called serendipity. People are placed on our paths to guide us along, push us, encourage us, build us and grow us.

This week, I'm joined by Jessica Boarman, a friend, co-worker and someone who was placed on my path on purpose. In this episode, we chat about how God has used her life through experiences and her blog to touch the lives of others who are experiencing grief and loss among other things. She shares how her hardships have allowed her to connect with others and give them hope. It's the word "serendipity" that has showed up in her life and she knows that her purpose has meaning.

I know you're going to enjoy this one and I hope you, yourself will look for ways to open your hands to receive more of these serendipitous moments and seek opportunity to say yes.

You can find more of Jessica's wisdom at jessicaboarman.com to read her journal entries or follow along on Instagram at The Journals Blog for inspiration and insight.
