Johanna Stepan is Chief Strategy Officer at the Premium Ride-Hailing Joint Venture between Daimler and Geely in China. She played a key role in setting up this first Joint Venture between the two automotive companies in 2019 and in her current role, she is responsible for Strategy and International Business. Prior to that, Johanna has been working at Daimler for 7 years in both strategic and operational positions in Germany, Singapore and the US. Johanna is married and mum of a 9 months old daughter.

In our conversation we talk about how she set the course in her early years that led to her joining Daimler and the approach that she has taken to her career journey. Johanna shares the key criteria that she is looking for when she assesses a new role, her leadership philosophy and the latest new positive self development habits that she has adopted.
