Brian Allan is currently the President, of HyreCar Inc.

He started his automotive retail career in 1980 in Beverly Hills, California selling Lincoln, Mercury, Peugeot and Lotus vehicles while attending University. In 1985, Brian joined what became the Galpin Premier Collection, a division of Galpin Motors in Los Angeles in California.

Brian has served on numerous automotive manufacturer dealer councils & advisory boards for several retail and technology firms. He is renowned for recognizing industry trends and developing innovative solutions that leverage technology to improve the employee and customer experience for the automotive industry.

After 30 years of service as a Group General Manager & Director of Business Development at Galpin Motors, Brian retired from Galpin in 2018. He founded respective.io, a strategic advisory and investment firm focused on emerging technologies and innovation in the automotive industry. In December 2018, Brian joined HyreCar Inc. (Nasdaq: HYRE) which is an innovative online marketplace that connects gig-drivers to vehicles available for on-demand rental, specifically for ridesharing and delivery services) , and now serves as its President.

Brian is a Los Angeles native and lives in Los Angeles with his wife Karon and Fox Terrier, Brandy Alexander.

In our conversation we talk about Brian's paradigms about customer service and his approach to leadership which was a responsibility that he had to get to grips earlier than most. He reveals the Hollywood movie that most closely resembles his own life story and shares how he made what with hindsight may have been the most costly car purchase of all time! We talk about the advent of E.V.s, Mobility platforms and the complexity of the gig economy and Brian shares what helps him when he feels he needs a little boost.
