If no one has ever told you, you should know that your mental health matters. Mental Health is not a dirty word nor should you be ashamed of it. I have experienced anxiety my whole life and depression at times and today I share with you what it's looked liked, what I have done to cope with it and why counseling and/or meds should never be feared. Trust me, I am the first to admit I was judgemental, I was uneducated and was proven wrong. I am here to help normalize mental struggles because we all have them at some point in our lives. It's not shameful to admit you are dealing with the hard. For some, it means things have progressed beyond what we can control on our own and we need further support. Learning how to ask for help is one of the greatest blessings I was taught. You are not alone. Join me as I dig deeper with this!
