The Hour of Code is a free one-hour introduction to computer science, using fun tutorials to show that anybody can learn the basics of coding. Coding teaches valuable skills for any future career and also builds work and life skills. It's an excellent way to learn soft skills, like creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, that are important for kids to thrive in the future. This grassroots campaign is supported by over 400 partners and 200,000 educators worldwide. In this episode, we will discuss ways to support this initiative within our district.
