Episode 2: Promote Pan African Heritage & innovation – In order to build off the momentum of the 2019 Year of Return, the Ghanaian Government created the “Beyond the return” campaign and developed a 7 Pillar initiative to consolidate diaspora engagement and establish a long-term connection between Ghana and the African Diaspora. In this episode our conversation focuses on pillar 7; Promote Pan African Heritage and Innovation- which focuses on promoting Pan-African Ghanaian heritage and developing pilgrimage infrastructure around sites of memory.
