The Hebrew word ʿimmānū'ēl (Romanized as “Emmanuel”) means “God is with us”.

In this message series, we are meditating on the significance of God’s willingness to be with us and for us where we are. 

God isn’t just with us on the mountaintops. He is also with us in the valley; when we are struggling. He is with us when we can’t put the past in the past.

He [Jesus] gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave  and was born as a human being.
