Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. "Seek" is a word that is to seek after God and keep on seeking. We are to seek to know the Father. "Knock" speaks of entrance into God's dwelling place - an opening the door of fellowship to the Father.
