In this episode, I’m going to review Pearson’s time in office, including Canada’s extended peacekeeping missions in Vietnam and Cyprus, the Prime Minister’s confrontation with President Lyndon Johnson, and finally Pierre Trudeau’s ascent and radical reformulation of Canadian foreign policy into what he called the Third Option.
